Introduction to Interoception in Concussion Care

This course examines the role of interoception in concussion recovery and its influence on self-regulation, symptom awareness, and functional participation. Participants will explore the neurophysiological foundations of interoception and its relationship to nervous system regulation following brain injury. The course provides practical, evidence-informed strategies for integrating interoceptive awareness into assessment and intervention to support symptom management, emotional regulation, and daily functioning. This course consists of approximately one hour of lecture.
